Job Summary
The neurologist will offer specialized services such as electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS) aimed at patients experiencing work-related orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. This role involves close collaboration with healthcare professionals and therapists, contributing to case management and engaging in communication with employers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct EMGs and NCS for the assessment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
- Work closely with medical and therapy teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate actively in case management practices.
- Facilitate communication with employers regarding patient progress and needs.
Qualifications
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Unrestricted DEA license for the state in which the candidate practices.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Neurology.
- Current medical malpractice insurance coverage.
