Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for delivering thorough gastroenterology services, which encompass diagnosing conditions, creating treatment strategies, and managing prescriptions in partnership with physicians. This role also involves the organization of patient care, engagement in research initiatives, and acting as a vital clinical resource for the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive gastroenterology care including diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians on prescriptive measures.
- Coordinate patient care for optimal health outcomes.
- Participate in research protocols to advance clinical knowledge.
- Serve as a clinical resource for the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner in New York.
- Fluency in Russian is necessary.
- ANCC or equivalent board certification is required.
- Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.
