Job Summary
We are searching for a skilled and empathetic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a valued member of the expanding Breast Surgery team at Geisinger Medical Center located in Danville, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional care and support to patients undergoing breast surgeries.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and manage care plans for individuals in need of breast surgical interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality clinical outcomes.
- Support the surgical team during procedures and assist in follow-up care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options and aftercare.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation as per healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Previous experience in surgery or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
