Job Summary

The role of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Hospital Medicine involves providing essential healthcare services in a hospital setting. This position is integral to the medical team, operating under the oversight of the Medical Director or designated personnel, contributing to the continued progress and improvement of care since the facility’s establishment in 1942. The professional is tasked with delivering high-quality clinical care to patients within the scope of their practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care under the supervision of the Medical Director or other authorized staff.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans based on patient needs.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training activities to maintain professional knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Current license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the applicable state.
  • Relevant clinical experience in a hospital medicine setting is preferred.
