Job Summary
The role of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Hospital Medicine involves providing healthcare services within a hospital setting under the oversight of the Medical Director or designated staff members. This position is based in Meridian, Mississippi, and requires onsite engagement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in a hospital environment.
- Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and healthcare team to ensure effective treatment plans.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage medical conditions of patients.
- Perform necessary medical procedures as per established protocols.
Qualifications
- Possess a degree in Physician Assistant medicine or a related Health Sciences field.
- Valid licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Mississippi.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital setting.
