Job Summary
MyMichigan Health is seeking a committed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to become a vital member of the Hospital Medicine Team in Midland, Michigan. This role involves working full-time in an onsite capacity with a night shift schedule, specifically from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The position is focused entirely on inpatient care and entails a 7 on/7 off work rotation.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the management and care of hospitalized patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Engage in patient assessments and implementation of treatment plans.
- Document patient progress and update medical records accurately.
- Provide patient education and support throughout their hospital stay.
- Respond to emergencies and urgent care situations as they arise.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
- Possess relevant clinical experience in hospital medicine or similar environments.
- Exhibit strong communication skills and a desire to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
