Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Internal Medicine Primary Care will be an integral part of a Patient-Centered Medical Home practice located in Mount Pleasant, Charleston. This position involves providing comprehensive care as part of a healthcare team, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes through effective collaboration and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical assessments and evaluations of patients.
- Order and interpret radiological, laboratory, and other diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate closely with an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician in a supervisory capacity.
- Deliver evidence-based care that promotes patient-centered outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current certification as either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Proven experience in internal medicine or primary care setting.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to perform necessary medical procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
