Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the OBGYN department will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services in Hillsboro, Oregon. This role involves performing diagnostic studies and managing medication orders while working closely under the supervision of a physician. The practitioner will play a critical role in enhancing patient care and collaborating within a healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments and physical exams.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop treatment plans in collaboration with a supervising physician.
- Prescribe medications as per the OBGYN guidelines.
- Assist in the development and implementation of NP/PA float protocols.
- Ensure compliance with State licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse License in Oregon or eligibility for licensure within six months of hire.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Experience in OBGYN practices is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
