Job Summary
The role of Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Primary Care is centered on delivering outstanding patient care under the guidance of the Medical Director or designated personnel. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality healthcare services in a dedicated primary care setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient evaluations and medical care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create effective treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing or Physician Assistant program.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Valid license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant in the state of Louisiana.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work effectively with a healthcare team.
- Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities.
