Job Summary
The Gould Medical Group is seeking a qualified and board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team in Modesto, California. This role involves providing advanced medical care in a fast-paced surgical environment, focusing on trauma patients and acute surgical needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care and management for patients in the Trauma Surgery department.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform detailed assessments and take patient histories to determine care plans.
- Administer treatments and assist in surgical procedures as needed.
- Participate in the education and support of patients and their families regarding health and recovery.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Current board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Relevant experience in trauma surgery or acute care settings is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and support.
- Valid state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in California.
