Job Summary
The Nutritional II position plays a crucial role in the preparation, storage, and service of both hot and cold food items for patients in the hospital as well as for various special events. The individual in this role is tasked with ensuring high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all work areas, as well as managing inventory effectively.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve hot and cold meals for hospital patients and special functions.
- Store food items appropriately to ensure freshness and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, and dishes.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supplies are available.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Proven ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment safely.
- Understanding of basic sanitation practices and principles.
