Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist will engage in delivering direct therapeutic services while performing comprehensive assessments. This role encompasses the formulation of Individualized Education Program (IEP) plans tailored for students. The therapist will work closely with a variety of interdisciplinary teams, which include educators and parents, to monitor and evaluate the progress of students.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapy services to students based on individual needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments to inform treatment and IEP development.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams for evaluating student progress.
- Develop and implement tailored IEP plans in accordance with assessment results.
Qualifications
- Must possess a degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Required to hold the necessary state licenses and certification from the NBCOT.
- Experience working with children is essential.
- A solid understanding of sensory integration principles is mandatory.
