Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide quality care on weekends in a casual or per diem capacity. This role is essential for supporting patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals through personalized treatment plans and interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations to assess patients’ occupational needs and capabilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving patients’ abilities to perform daily tasks.
- Implement therapeutic interventions based on patient-specific goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Guide and educate patients and their families on strategies for enhanced recovery.
- Stay updated with the latest industry practices and advancements in occupational therapy.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not essential.
