Job Summary
The Occupational Therapy Assistant plays a critical role in delivering therapeutic services aimed at enhancing patient functional independence. Working under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the assistant contributes to patient care through various tasks that align with established treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Implement therapy services as guided by the Occupational Therapist.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records related to patient care and progress.
- Develop and sustain positive working relationships with facility personnel.
- Support patients in their daily activities to improve functional independence.
Qualifications
- Completion of an Occupational Therapy Assistant program that is accredited by ACOTE.
- Possession of a valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the respective state.
