Job Summary
The Occupational Therapy Assistant will deliver occupational therapy services to patients under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, focusing on enhancing their functional independence. This position entails managing patient cases, fostering professional collaborations with facility personnel, and upholding regulatory compliance within the practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic services to patients to aid in their recovery and independence.
- Work alongside a licensed Occupational Therapist for supervision and guidance.
- Manage individual patient cases effectively.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with staff members at the facility.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards and protocols related to occupational therapy practices.
Qualifications
- Completion of an ACOTE-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Possession of a valid state license for Occupational Therapy Assistants.
