Job Summary
The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in providing both administrative and clinical support to enhance patient comfort and streamline the visitation process. This position is centered around executing essential clinical tasks as guided by the medical staff.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate patient care by performing administrative tasks and clinical procedures.
- Support the medical team in ensuring a smooth and efficient visitation experience for patients.
- Maintain patient comfort throughout their time at the facility.
- Execute clinical procedures as directed by healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
- Preferred candidates will hold certification or registration as a Medical Assistant, STNA, EMT, or Paramedic.
