Job Summary
The Power Plant Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of the power plant, ensuring efficient operations of gas turbines and maintaining load management to support essential infrastructure reliably.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the power plant, including starting up and shutting down gas turbines.
- Oversee load management to ensure consistent support for mission-critical systems.
- Build and lead a team of operators to maintain operational integrity.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Monitor plant performance and ensure adherence to safety compliance regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in power plant operations.
- Demonstrated ability in technical judgment and effective leadership.
- Capability to work onsite at Starbase, TX.
