Job Summary
The Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in enhancing regional operations by refining workflows, handling insurance paperwork, and overseeing patient data management within electronic medical record (EMR) systems. This position also entails the delivery and installation of home medical equipment while adhering to healthcare regulations and payer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and streamline operational workflows to improve efficiency.
- Process and manage insurance documentation for patient care.
- Maintain and organize patient data within EMR systems.
- Deliver and set up home medical equipment for patients.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare standards and payer guidelines.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or an associate degree is required.
- At least one year of relevant work experience is necessary.
- A valid and unrestricted driver’s license is needed for equipment delivery and patient support.
