Operate, set up, and maintain the stacker machine center, ensuring lumber is correctly positioned, stacked, stamped, ticketed, and sent to the green sheds. Monitor production flow, complete required tallies and reports, clear jams, address equipment issues, and coordinate with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other operators. Candidates need physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, working outdoors, and working around loud equipment and at heights while harnessed. They must follow instructions and safety procedures, understand basic mathematics and machine operation, perform routine maintenance, monitor equipment indicators, and work reliably with limited supervision and as part of a team.
