Job description
**Ophthalmic Clinic Coordinator**
The Ophthalmic Clinic Coordinator is responsible for managing the clinical operations, supporting physicians during examinations and minor surgical interventions, and conducting initial ocular diagnostic assessments. This role entails maintaining patient records, entering clinical observations into the electronic medical records system, and ensuring that the clinic is well-supplied and that instruments are properly sterilized. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of one year of relevant experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant or Technician. Preference will be given to those who hold certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA, COT, or COMT).
