**Optometric Technician**
The Optometric Technician plays a vital role in enhancing patient care by conducting preliminary testing procedures, executing diagnostic assessments, and coordinating the appointment calendar for the doctor. Responsibilities also include maintaining precise medical documentation and providing clerical support to facilitate a smooth patient experience. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, along with experience in patient assessment or the eye care field. Knowledge of medical terminology, adherence to HIPAA regulations, and basic computer proficiency are essential.
