Job Summary
The role of the OR/Sterile Processing Technician at Surgical Solutions, based in the Bronx, New York, is pivotal in enhancing the functionality of operating rooms and sterile processing departments. Responsibilities
- Coordinate with operating room staff to fulfill requests and assist in maintaining an organized workflow.
- Ensure that all surgical instruments and sterile supplies are adequately prepared and available for procedures.
- Adhere to sanitation protocols to maintain a sterile environment within all designated areas.
- Participate in continuous training and quality improvement initiatives related to sterile processing practices.
- Monitor and uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance in all operations.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) certification or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a sterile processing or surgical environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in the role.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate efficiently with medical staff and teams are required.
