Job Summary
The OR/Sterile Processing Technician plays a vital role in enhancing patient care and supporting healthcare teams at Surgical Solutions in Nyack, New York. This position focuses on the efficient operation of both operating rooms and sterile processing departments to ensure that medical staff can provide high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assist operating room personnel as needed to facilitate patient procedures.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and ready for use.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the sterile processing area.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to enhance operational flow and patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
