Job Summary
The OR/Sterile Processing Technician at Surgical Solutions plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of care for patients and support for healthcare teams. The technician is responsible for the operational readiness of surgical instruments and sterile processing activities, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for surgeries.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and sterilization equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in sterile processing.
- Support OR staff by providing necessary equipment and materials promptly.
- Assist in the management of sterile storage and inventory.
Qualifications
- Must possess certification as a Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a sterile processing or surgical environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of infection control practices and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
