Job description
The Outpatient Services Technician plays a vital role in managing patient registration, confirming insurance details, and collecting any applicable out-of-pocket expenses. This position also encompasses delivering fundamental patient care services such as phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen gathering. Applicants should hold a high school diploma or GED and have a foundational understanding of computer operations and medical terminology. While prior healthcare experience and a phlebotomy certification are advantageous, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is essential for this role.
