Job Summary
The Inspector/Packer plays a crucial role in ensuring product quality through visual inspections, segregation of defective items, and proper packaging of finished goods in line with specified guidelines. This position also emphasizes the importance of maintaining a tidy work environment, addressing any equipment issues, and complying with all food safety and manufacturing regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections of products to verify quality standards.
- Identify and separate defective items from compliant products.
- Package finished goods following established specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist in troubleshooting and addressing equipment malfunctions.
- Adhere to all relevant food safety and manufacturing standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds during 12-hour shifts.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Willingness to learn and comply with safety procedures and regulations.
