Job Summary
This position is focused on the preparation of equipment and components for painting processes, ensuring high-quality surface finishes by engaging in necessary cleaning, sanding, and repairs. The role requires proficiency in operating material handling equipment to facilitate the loading and unloading tasks associated with paint booths and curing ovens.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and addressing imperfections.
- Operate material handling equipment safely while assisting in loading and unloading operations.
- Maintain adherence to safety protocols while performing manual tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, paint preparation, or automotive body repair is advantageous.
- Ability to safely handle hand and power tools is essential.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks is required.
