Job Summary
The Industrial Utilities Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of the facility by troubleshooting and maintaining essential systems such as refrigeration, boilers, steam, and water systems. This position is integral to enhancing operational reliability and safety within the industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on refrigeration, boiler, steam, and water systems.
- Conduct precision maintenance to uphold the operational integrity of equipment.
- Respond to emergencies related to hazardous material releases effectively.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize facility operations.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial utilities.
- A two-year technical degree or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Certification in RETA CIRO, Boiler Operator 1, or a state equivalent is mandatory.
