Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist role involves delivering both direct and consultative services to students, focusing on the creation and oversight of individualized goals that correspond with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). This position requires active collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and the incorporation of effective strategies into educational programs for students.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct occupational therapy services and consultative support to students.
- Develop and monitor individualized goals in alignment with IEPs.
- Collaborate with various professionals to ensure comprehensive student programming.
- Utilize best practices in therapy to enhance student outcomes.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy is essential.
- Current Occupational Therapy license in Massachusetts.
- Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Preferred experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies is advantageous.
