Job Summary
Adventist HealthCare is looking for a part-time Surgical Technologist to join the Operating Room team in Silver Spring, Maryland. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that surgical procedures are conducted efficiently and safely by providing support to the surgical team, preparing the operating room, and maintaining the sterile environment necessary for patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team during operations by passing instruments and supplies.
- Prepare the operating room prior to surgeries and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for use.
- Maintain sterility of the surgical environment and manage sterile supplies effectively.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of patient care during surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- CST certification is required for this position.
- Experience in a surgical setting is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other medical professionals in a high-pressure environment.
