Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician is responsible for delivering nursing assistance and aiding patients in their daily activities to promote comfort and safety. This role involves collaboration within a unit-based, self-directed team to conduct personal hygiene procedures and partake in various clinical responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living to ensure their comfort and safety.
- Conduct hygiene procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with team members in providing clinical support within the unit.
Qualifications
- Valid BLS certification is required.
- CNA, CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification registered in Georgia is necessary.
- A minimum of one year of experience in direct patient care in an acute setting is essential.
