Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in supporting nursing staff and doctors by providing emergency care to patients across various age groups. This position requires efficient documentation of the treatment provided in the electronic health record system to ensure accurate patient care management.
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff and physicians with emergency care for patients of all ages.
- Document care provided in the electronic health record accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- American Heart Association BLS certification is necessary.
- Preferred candidates should have one year of experience in a hospital or nursing home setting.
- Experience in CNA, phlebotomy, and EKG procedures is preferred.
