Job description
**Patient Care Technician**
The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in supporting registered nurses and licensed practical nurses by delivering hands-on patient care and facilitating communication within the unit. Key responsibilities include processing orders from physicians, handling clerical responsibilities, and ensuring that the nursing unit remains organized and well-supplied. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, and must either have or be prepared to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. This position demands excellent interpersonal skills, an aptitude for clerical work, and a solid understanding of basic math and reading comprehension.
