Job Summary
The Patient Care Technician is responsible for delivering hands-on support and care to patients while working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. This role is essential in facilitating the patients’ comfort and safety during their care journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside care and support to patients.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Monitor and record vital signs regularly.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for the patients.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Candidates must be willing to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within three months.
- State-tested Nurse Aide certification is preferred.
