Job description
The Insurance Advocate plays a crucial role in evaluating patient eligibility and facilitating enrollment in ACA Marketplace plans. This position involves handling a significant volume of outreach calls and requires thorough documentation of all interactions within hospital databases and electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Applicants should possess a High School Diploma and have 1-2 years of relevant experience, with some college coursework being advantageous. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and an understanding of ACA marketplace, Medicaid, and commercial insurance terminology are essential qualifications.
