**Job Title: Patient Registration Clerk**
The Patient Registration Clerk is responsible for overseeing the intake of patients, confirming insurance coverage, and collecting payments at the time of service to maintain the financial health of the hospital. This position also operates as the primary switchboard operator for the facility, facilitating communications, managing alarms, and providing assistance to visitors. Candidates should hold a High School Diploma or GED, with an Associate’s degree being advantageous. A background of 1-3 years in customer service or administrative positions is required, preferably in a healthcare environment.
