The Patient Scheduling Associate is tasked with organizing and managing patient appointments across various departments such as imaging, laboratory, and surgical services. This role involves registering patients, verifying their insurance information, and ensuring that records are meticulously maintained within the electronic medical records system. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or GED, along with a minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting or customer service within a call center environment. Familiarity with Epic EMR or comparable scheduling software is necessary for this position.
