Transport patients between service locations, including admissions, discharges, and ancillary departments. Handle patients and equipment safely, including managing oxygen equipment and following transport and infection control procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent education and experience is required; graduates of an approved IU Health transition-to-work program are also eligible. The role requires competency training in patient transfers, oxygen equipment and monitoring, and infection control, along with the ability to walk and stand frequently and lift up to 50 pounds; no prior experience is required.
