Job Summary
The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing both acute and chronic health issues in pediatric patients while emphasizing preventive healthcare practices. This role involves working closely with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care and the maintenance of correct medical records.
Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and diagnoses of pediatric patients with various health conditions.
- Administer treatment for both acute and chronic illnesses.
- Promote and implement preventive care strategies for patients.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical teams to coordinate patient care.
- Ensure accurate and thorough medical documentation is maintained.
Qualifications
- Possession of a valid and active FNP or PNP license.
- Strong skills in clinical assessment and diagnostic processes.
- Familiarity and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Adeptness at functioning well within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
