**Job Title: Peer Recovery Support Specialist**
The Peer Recovery Support Specialist serves as an exemplar and mentor for individuals dealing with mental health challenges or substance use issues, aiding them in their recovery journey. This position involves working closely with treatment teams, contributing to both intake and discharge planning, and acting as a bridge between clients and organizational staff. Applicants should hold certification as a Peer Recovery Supporter and have a minimum of three years’ experience in treatment or recovery settings. For those who are in recovery, a minimum of one year of sustained sobriety is required, alongside the ability to communicate effectively.
