Job Summary
The Comprehensive Joint & Spine Institute is seeking a qualified Per Diem Sterile Processing Technician – OR Support to ensure the proper maintenance and care of surgical instruments while preparing supplies necessary for surgical procedures. This role is vital in maintaining the highest standards of sterilization and instrument readiness in the operating room.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize all surgical instruments.
- Prepare supplies efficiently for surgeries.
- Ensure compliance with sterilization protocols at all times.
- Manage and operate various sterilization equipment effectively.
Qualifications
- Experience with all types of sterilizers is highly regarded.
- Familiarity with operating room (OR) instrumentation is preferred.
- Ability to work on an as-needed basis, adapting to the flexible work schedule.
