Job Summary
Duly Health Lombard is in search of a certified Surgical Technologist to provide essential support to the operating room teams in Lombard, Illinois. This position involves working closely with surgeons and nursing staff to ensure the operating room is ready, following proper sterile techniques, and assisting during surgical procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning.
- Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgeries to prevent infection.
- Assist surgeons and nurses during procedures by providing the required instruments and materials.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure a smooth workflow and effective communication.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist from an accredited program is required.
- Proven experience in an operating room environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical instruments and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
