Job Summary
The Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of the pharmacy by ensuring the proper functioning of automated dispensing systems and preparing daily medication supplies. This position is vital for maintaining accurate pharmacy inventory and reconditioning bulk medications for efficient use.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain automated dispensing systems to ensure effective medication delivery.
- Prepare and fill daily medication carts for patient care.
- Manage and monitor the pharmacy inventory, ensuring that stock levels are adequate.
- Repackage bulk medications to facilitate their distribution and use.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a valid Pharmacy Technician license issued by the New Mexico Board of Pharmacy.
- Maintaining a PTCB, CPhT certification or an equivalent credential is mandatory.
