Responsibilities
- Conduct blood draws from patients with care and professionalism.
- Label and prepare blood specimens accurately for subsequent transport.
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of laboratory equipment.
- Provide a comfortable experience for patients during the blood draw process.
- Follow physician orders precisely and adhere to safety regulations.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A valid Phlebotomy certification is necessary where mandated by state regulations.
- At least 6 months of experience working in a dynamic laboratory or hospital environment.
