Job Summary
The Phlebotomist II plays a crucial role in collecting and processing specimens from patients while adhering to safety and clinical standards. This position also involves keeping precise records, overseeing inventory, and entering data into laboratory information systems.
Responsibilities
- Collect and process patient specimens in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs of specimen collection and processing.
- Manage inventory of laboratory materials and equipment.
- Perform data entry tasks within laboratory information systems.
Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of experience in phlebotomy, including experience with both pediatric and geriatric patients.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
