Collect specimens, administer oral solutions, verify test orders, enter patient and billing information, and process specimens for transport. Maintain supplies, logs, and records; complete administrative tasks and required training while following departmental procedures. Requires at least three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections, along with keyboard and data-entry experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; medical assistant or paramedic training and phlebotomy certification are preferred, and schedule flexibility and reliable transportation may be required.
