Collect blood samples through venipuncture and capillary puncture, ensure patient comfort and correct identification, and maintain specimen integrity through proper labeling, handling, and transport. Maintain equipment and accurate records, follow safety and regulatory procedures, communicate with healthcare staff, and participate in quality assurance activities. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomist certification or licensure, along with knowledge of blood collection procedures and strong communication and customer service skills. Applicants must have completed 50 successful donor collections with an accredited laboratory within the past two years, be able to work varied shifts as needed, and meet physical, background-check, drug-testing, and work-authorization requirements.
