Job Summary
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for delivering direct therapeutic services to students, carrying out assessments, and formulating Individualized Education Program (IEP) plans. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, incorporating the input from educators and parents to enhance student development.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapy services to students.
- Conduct assessments to determine student needs.
- Develop and implement IEP plans tailored to individual student progress.
- Collaborate effectively with educators and parents as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Support student advancement through specialized therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy is required.
- Possession of a valid state license to practice physical therapy.
- Experience working with children is essential.
- Ability to engage in physical activities, including lifting and walking, is necessary.
