Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant delivers essential physical therapy services in a home health environment, working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role focuses on helping patients regain their functional abilities and manage their rehabilitation journey effectively.
Responsibilities
- Administer direct physical therapy treatments to patients in their homes.
- Assist in restoring patients’ functional capabilities through customized therapy plans.
- Ensure accurate documentation of clinical progress and patient interactions.
- Educate patients on the proper use of assistive devices to facilitate their recovery.
Qualifications
- Must have completed an accredited physical therapy assistant program, holding an Associate’s degree.
- Possess a valid California Physical Therapist Assistant license.
- Hold current CPR certification.
- Must have a valid California driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
