Job Summary
The Float Physical Therapist plays a crucial role in providing high-quality rehabilitation services across various facilities. This position is focused on delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring that each individual receives personalized treatment tailored to their specific needs. The therapist will travel to different locations as required, showcasing versatility and adaptability in various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized physical therapy treatments based on patient assessments and personalized care plans.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and integrated rehabilitation services.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ physical conditions and progress over time.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Provide education and resources to patients and families regarding physical therapy practices and home exercise programs.
- Travel to multiple facilities as needed to meet staffing and patient care demands.
Qualifications
- Must hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current and valid state licensure to practice physical therapy.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse settings and interact well with various populations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong patient relationships.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Location
Various locations, with a primary focus on nearby facilities.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid – travel between multiple sites as required.
